What are the key differences between the Essilor® Stellest® lenses and the Essilor® Stellest® 2.0 lenses?
Essilor® Stellest® 2.0 lenses
- Incorporate Highly Aspherical Lenslet Target (H.A.L.T.) MAX technology, i.e. lenslets with increased mean power and asphericity compared to Essilor® Stellest® lenses with H.A.L.T.* technology. As a result, Essilor® Stellest® 2.0 lenses provide twice the depth volume of non-focused light, positioned further from the retina compared to Essilor® Stellest® lenses.
- Incorporates an additional ring with 169 lenslets, for a total of 1190 contiguous highly aspherical lenslets spread over 12 rings, compared to 1021 lenslets spread over 11 rings in Essilor® Stellest® lenses.
- Available in a larger diameter of max 75 mm compared to 70 mm in Essilor® Stellest® lenses, providing greater frame compatibility.
